Any Android tablet with a front camera works for clock-in; any Android tablet or TV box works for the live board.
Add the device in the panel
Settings → Devices → Add. Give it a name (Gate A), pick the site and the device type:
- Clock-in tablet — face/PIN/QR clock-in, breaks, roll call, leave and shift requests.
- TV board — the live jobs & tasks board only. It never shows the clock-in screen.
You get an 8-digit pairing code valid for 15 minutes (or a QR code to scan). If it runs out, generate a new one from the same screen.
On the tablet
- Install Yumee Workforce Kiosk from Google Play.
- Type the pairing code (or scan the QR).
- Allow camera access. The tablet downloads your settings and staff list and is ready.
Good to know
- A code works once. To move the app to another tablet, use Reset on the device in the panel and pair again.
- The panel shows battery, network, app version and last-seen time for every device, and can reload, re-sync or unpair it remotely.
- Tablets keep working without Wi-Fi: clock-ins queue and sync when the connection returns.
- Mount the clock-in tablet at eye height with the front camera facing the person, out of direct sunlight.
